Bordeaux : Inauguration of the “Gare Saint Jean Armagnac” Parking

29/09/2023

The Gare Saint Jean Armagnac Parking, located on Paul Peyrat Street, near the Saint-Jean TGV train station, was inaugurated yesterday in the presence of Olivier Cazaux, Deputy Mayor of the Bordeaux Sud district; Valérie LASEK, General Director of the Bordeaux Euratlantique public development agency; Claire Vendée, General Director of BMA - Bordeaux Métropole Aménagement; Ana D'Anna Rivas, Regional Director of Nouvelle Aquitaine for ICADE; and Roland Cracco, CEO of the Interparking Group.

This new parking facility, with a capacity of 496 spaces spread across 6 levels (equivalent to twelve split-levels), includes 2 padel courts on its rooftop and provides direct access to nearby residential buildings.

The parking facility offers a shared parking solution for all residential and office buildings within its vicinity. With 99 electric vehicle charging stations (20% of the total capacity of the car park) and its wooden structure, the parking facility centralizes all parking options for the neighborhood, which is being redeveloped around the Armagnac square, featuring representative wooden buildings as part of Bordeaux Euratlantique's commitment to responsible and sustainable construction.

Thanks to its attractive pricing of €1 per hour of parking (with a daily flat rate of €12), it will contribute to enhancing the attractiveness of this transforming neighborhood.

Established in 2009, the Bordeaux Euratlantique National Interest Operation represents the largest urban development and economic development project in France, second only to the Grand Paris project. Ultimately, Bordeaux Euratlantique will accommodate 30,000 jobs while meeting the housing needs of 50,000 residents.

Through its active involvement in the realization of this project, Interparking demonstrates its commitment to playing a significant role in promoting innovative mobility solutions, thereby actively contributing to the transformation and growth of the Bordeaux Sud neighborhood.
